Moran Logistics has been awarded three ‘AA’ grades in the BRCGS Storage and Distribution standard for its sites in Heywood, Leeds and Castle Donington Moran stated that it was delighted that, once again, its sites had achieved top grading in the BRCGS audits, with Mark Burrell, Moran CEO, praising the team for the “massive efforts, put in every day, keeping the very highest standards of operation”.
Moran’s Leeds site, which also conducts a considerable chilled co-packing operation, was an unannounced audit for the first time in its history. “It was an outstanding achievement by Leeds to get the coveted AA PLUS certification”, said Burrell.
Neil Fairbrother, recently appointed head of QHSE at Moran Logistics, was particularly delighted with the work of the team in recent weeks.
“Moran has always been deeply proud of their record in quality assurance and health and safety – but the initiatives we have witnessed recently show just how these things run through the heart of our business.”
“There is a relentless drive within the team when it comes to continuous improvement, so it is wonderful that these efforts are recognised by the BRCGS audits with the certification given at the highest level for all three of our sites”.
