Lactalis UK and Ireland is set to break into the ’lighter spreadable butter’ market with a new addition to its portfolio. Président Lighter Slightly Salted Spreadable Butter, with 50% less fat compared to standard butter[i], will be available in 250g tubs from 29th March 2023.
This new spreadable NPD is the first to market lighter spreadable butter offering a genuine dairy product, with no added vegetable oils. Made in the heart of Brittany with the finest milk and cream, Président Lighter Spreadable offers a rich, creamy and indulgent taste experience, best enjoyed spread on warm crusty bread or crumpets.

Président is currently driving value growth into the Spreadable Butter category growing by +9% in value sales YoYi vs +1% for total market.
